Individuals who demonstrate an interest in Jesuit higher education and the mission of JASPA but are not employed by a Jesuit institution may apply for Affiliate Membership on an annual basis. Affiliate members are welcomed into the JASPA community and have opportunities to engage in professional development, networking, and the exchange of resources and ideas related to Jesuit student affairs.

A JASPA Graduate Student Membership provides full-time graduate students with an opportunity to connect with colleagues across Jesuit higher education while building their professional networks and exploring careers in student affairs. This membership is designed for graduate students who are enrolled full-time in a graduate program and working part-time or less. Members can participate in JASPA professional development, connect with functional-area networks, share ideas and resources, and engage with a community of professionals committed to the mission and values of Jesuit higher education.

An Emeritus member is a student affairs professional, or a faculty member who has been engaged in student affairs professional preparation programs, who is no longer active in the profession but whose background in student affairs work has represented a significant contribution to the profession and to students. It is assumed that a major portion of the person’s career will have been spent at a Jesuit or Catholic institution of higher learning. Nominations for Emeritus membership shall be transmitted to the President, who will seek the advice and consent of the JASPA Executive Board before conferring emeritus status. An Emeritus Member is a member for life in the Association and will not be required to pay any membership dues.
